RayAnne Partners is a community-focused development group dedicated to revitalizing Frankfort, Michigan’s Main Street while honoring its history, culture, and natural beauty. Founded by partners with deep ties to small business, outdoor adventure, and creative placemaking, our mission is to create projects that endure — blending tradition with innovation, community with commerce.

Our Vision

We believe that Northern Michigan’s lakeshore towns are at their strongest when they balance local roots with destination appeal. Through phased, sustainable development, we are reimagining Frankfort’s beloved bait shop and adjacent properties into a vibrant year-round hub where visitors and locals alike can Eat, Explore, and Enjoy.

What We Do

Our projects combine hospitality, outdoor adventure, local dining, and community spaces to drive both cultural and economic vitality. Each phase is designed to stand on its own, while building toward a larger ecosystem of growth.

Our Phased Placemaking Plan

  • Revitalized Frankfort Tackle Box Bait Shop + the launch of Dragon Wing Ventures - Charters & Outdoor Education.

  • Main Street expansion including:

    • The Liar’s Club Diner

    • Dragon Wing Ventures reception/studio space

    • Specialty Retail Storefront TBA

  • Tiny Home Hospitality and Garden Event Space — offering unique lodging, wellness, and retreat experiences.

  • A future storefront (wine shop or rental concept) to round out Main Street’s revival.

Why It Matters

Frankfort is already a jewel of the Lake Michigan coast, with a strong fishing culture, vibrant tourism, and a loyal year-round population. Yet gaps remain: digital-first businesses, experiential lodging, and flexible event spaces. A&R Partners exists to fill those gaps while keeping Frankfort’s community spirit and ensuring that a revitalized Tackle Box remains a community staple for generations to come.
